Apa Sherpa
World record holder with 18 summits, four without oxygen, on Mt. Everest. The 5-foot-4, 122-pound climber was dubbed as Super Tiger of Everest by a Swiss team he helped summit. Has made it to the top every year since with the exception of the infamous 1996 season when his good friend Rob Hall died on the mountain.
Dawa Steven Sherpa
Eco Everest Expedition 2009 organizer Dawa Steven Sherpa made it to the top of Mount Everest in 2007. He organized the Eco Everest Expedition 2008 after realizing the impact global warming was having on the land and the people of the Himalayan highlands. The 24-year-old honor graduate from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland speaks five languages. He will be the voice of the Salt Lake Tribune's "On Top of the World" blog.
