We are getting closer to leaving Kathmandu. We are picking up last minute supplies. We got a generator, deep cell car batteries, towers for our radios, the important oxygen bottles, masks and regulators (they come from Russia and are $330 (U.S. dollars) each. We got 37 of them. We also checked to see that our 50 yaks and 50 porters and helicopter for moving the items to base camp are in order. We are waiting for the rest of the team to arrive from Utah and have recently met with journalists from Agence France-Presse and BBC International.
