    May 12
    Today our team woke up to a very large snow storm with high winds. Apa changed the plans and decided for the team to begin the summit push tomorrow instead of today for the safety of the Team. The extra day will give the team more opportunity to rest and prepare for the changing weather patterns. The weather plays the biggest role in the summit attempt. Tomorrow the team will leave at 6:30 a.m. to go to Camp 2 to assess the situation on the mountain before proceeding to camp 4 as they will bypass Camp 3.
