Base Camp Blog
5/24/2007 9:57:06 AM -- There are all kinds of summits to climb. The SuperSherpas want to congratulate James Mika, son of base camp manager Jerry Mika, for his graduation from Juan Diego High School in Draper, Utah.
Here's a special note to James from his father, who remains with the team in Kathmandu.
Dear James,
It is sometimes believed that success is achieved by the material things you acquire. But REAL lasting success is not whom you impress or doing something just for praise. It is making a quest to always do your best and putting balance and love in your life. Your mother and I are so very proud of you for being you. Congratulations on your graduation and I will be home soon to celebrate your success!!!
I love you very much and you have made me a very proud father.
